This was a pattern that wasn't originally meant to sell. I came up with it as a utility knife for around the shop, a handy blade to cut tape and boxes and cord, and all those little things. I was constantly making these because friends were steeling them. On a few occasions I handed one to someone for a second and they flatly refused to give it back. After spending a great deal of time and energy trying to not make a knife that people want enough that they would steal it from a knife maker, I have gave in to pressure and added the Three-Finger EDC to the Dogwood lineup. The slight curve of the spine that flows back into the handle allows the knife to fit securely against the palm giving great control and leverage while making it very compact to carry.
